We Would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to International Full Gospel Fellowship Gereja Injil Seutuh Internasional (IFGF GISI) Seattle! It’s a pleasure and a priviledge to have you worship with us. Please take time to read through this short article. It will introduce you about our church and who we are.

OUR HISTORY — IN A NUTSHELL

In 1980, a revival swept among the Indonesian students in the United States. They soon started home fellowships in Los Angeles, Fresno and San Fransisco, California and called themselves the Indonesian Full Gospel Fellowship (IFGF).

As the movement began to grow, it was evident that more active and detailed organization for spiritual work and ministry were required. The various home fellowships then officially became IFGF churches.

By His grace, the home fellowship in Jakarta was officially recognized as Gereja Injil Seutuh Indonesia (GISI).

Pioneered by Pastor Chris and Eda Chan, IFGF Seattle was started in early January 1993. As we walked in obedience to God, IFGF Seattle has grown to a congregation of over 270 from just a handful of students and gave birth to IFGF Seattle (English congregation) in May 1998, IFGF Everett in January of 1999 and IFGF Kent in March of 2000.

In mid 2003, IFGF and GISI was changed to International Full Gospel Fellowship Gereja Injil Seutuh Internasional (IFGF GISI).

FOOD MATTERS

A steady diet of spiritual nourishment is essential for our growth. We have a complete menu of Bible Study Program called the Foundation Bible Study, to provide you with all the basic nutrients to become a healty member of our church. Solid meat-eaters may then proceed to our School of Christian Growth (SCG) for the extra boost of strength in this world full of unhealty contaminants.
