Hello everyone,
As you might know, there is a revamp in our POP I Foundational Bible Study. First, I want to tell you that the reason for all this changes is because we want to refocus ourselves in building the basics of our Christian walk again. I hope that as each of you would join in this new POP I, you will find that it is fresh, simple and relevant! More importantly, we hope that it will help each one of you in your Christian life to grow deeper in relationship with God and the understanding of the Word.
The structure changes are as follow. We will have 4 sessions now, broken down in this way:
Session 1: Fundamental Basic of Christianity and Salvation
Session 2: Inputs of Healthy Christian Life
Session 3: Outputs of Healthy Christian Life
Session 4: Membership Seminar
Every session is done on a weekly basis. At the same time, we realize that commitment is something crucial to our Christian growth, so we do not want to just talk about it, but also implement it into what we are doing on a daily basis. For this reason, there are several things that you need to commit towards for one to pass the POP I Foundational Bible Study course:
A. You must schedule your time, and commit to attending every single session: four (4) weeks total. (pre-planning)
B. If you have checked your schedule, and see that you are able to attend the whole four consecutive sessions, you will need to register your name. (commitment)
C. If you miss a single session for whatever reason it is, you would need to retake every single thing again. (walking the talk)
D. You should not be late. You should be 15 minutes early. If you come into the session substantially late, you will need to retake the whole thing again. (priority and responsibility)
Each batch of class will consist of a maximum of five (5) people, and not more than this. There might be more than one batch of class that is going on at the same time. We are starting this in February. We hope that this will help each one of us to grow and lead a powerful testimonial Christian walk!
Luke 14:28-30 (Message Bible)
"Is there anyone here who, planning to build a new house, doesn't first sit down and figure the cost so you'll know if you can complete it? If you only get the foundation laid and then run out of money, you're going to look pretty foolish. Everyone passing by will poke fun at you: 'He started something he couldn't finish.'"
